「如果你要做打根基的事情，就得放棄那個最後的虛榮，你得讓它沒有結果才是最好的結果，它一旦有結果了，成為你個人的收穫或勝利，對別人來說依然什麼都不是。放棄收割才有機會養一塊地，如果每年都要收割的話，所有耕耘也只是為了讓這塊土地能長出什麼東西而已。我希望所做的事情，有一天能讓這塊地看起來是個野地，它卻可以容納更多不同的生物形態，不只是變成果園而已。」張懸說。
